Taipei Zoo | Chocolate shakes

Just like before, we went to the lab to analyze our zebra fish embryos. The last time we were in the lab, we treated each grouping of fish with a different chemical. I do not know what each chemical was intended to do, but we analyzed the fish by categorizing each embryos into the certain stages of heart failure. The other group wasn't as lucky as a lot of their embryos were dead. After we finished up our analysis, we were off to see Taipei 101 (the place where the fireworks happened for bringing in the new year), then the Taipei zoo, and then we finished off the day riding a gondola up into the mountains where we enjoyed a tea dinner.

The yellow arrow is pointing at an embryo that looks disfigured compared to the other embryos in that well. We concluded it was dead due to no detection of the heart beating.

This one well contains some decaying zebra fish embryos.

Taipei 101

Taipei 101 serves a popular beverage called mango beer. We originally thought we would have been receiving coupon books that included a coupon for the mango beer, that way we all could try it for a reasonable price. We found out they don't do that anymore. So, I decided to buy a chocolate shake, because I didn't really want beer anyway. This shake was not what I was expecting, but was still delicious. They don't make their shakes the same way we do back home, at least not at Taipei 101. The liquid in the shake tasted like chocolate milk, and instead of blending the ice it was just a chunk of ice sitting in the middle of the cup, cover by the chocolate milk tasting liquid, with a scoop of ice cream and whip cream on top.

We went to the 91st floor to get the view of the picture below
